Boy, this year has been a fucking shit show of a tragedy if I’ve ever seen one. From the passing of Kobe Bryant, to COVID-19, to murder hornets apparently landing in the US, etc. This year needs to be put up on a crucifix and burned.
Just last week former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard passed after having a lifeguard rescue his son when they got caught up in a riptide while swimming. Not even a week later and now Japanese wrestler Hana Kimura was found dead. She committed suicide.
The 22-year old was a contestant on some show called Terrace House and was also a wrestler with the World Wonder Ring Stardom promotion in Japan (more commonly known as Stardom). After joining Stardom in 2019 she was one of 4 women from the promotion who wrestled at Wrestle Kingdom 14 in a fatal 4-way match back in January becoming one of only 4 women to compete at the event.
According to sources, she a cause of death hasnt been identified, however it’s known that she was a victim of cyber bullying and she had some cryptic last posts on her social media. I’dbe willing to bet that this was more than likely a suicide considering the things I just mentioned. I could speak a bit about cyberbullying but I have a disdain for the bitchmade niggas that participate in it that I wouldn’t be able to properly get my thoughts out. It’s real fucking sad considering that she was 22…22 bruh, like a year and half older than me with her career on Stardom basically set and then this kinda shit happens.
Some other wrestlers did give a bit of a tribute and condolences such as former UFC & RAW Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey.
It’s fucked up what happened but my thoughts go out to her family. Can 2020 just be over?
